In the forward-facing position, the baby tends to adopt a less tucked posture, with less pelvic support and the legs potentially hanging more freely.

They also cannot turn in toward the parent’s body when tired or overstimulated. For this reason, Regolo prioritises front inward-facing carrying and, from around 5-6 months, back carrying.

When correctly adjusted, Regolo distributes weight across the waistband, hips and shoulders. Poor adjustment can create tension, so it is important to position the waistband correctly and tighten the shoulder straps evenly.

There is no single time limit that applies to everyone. If your baby is positioned correctly, breathing freely and both baby and wearer are comfortable, the carrier can also be used for longer periods, taking breaks according to your family’s needs.
